Westbrook CT is a picture-book shoreline community. Settled in 1648, the town was originally known as Pochoug and renamed to Westbrook in 1810. It is located on the Connecticut Shoreline, approximately 40 minutes from New Haven and 30 minutes to New London.
The Shoreline East Commuter Rail Road provides a convenient means of transportation into New Haven and New York City. A wide variety of activities is available: beautiful beaches; Marina's for boating; Tanger Outlets for Shopping; large Movie Theater; YMCA; Restaurants.

Westbrook's 6,730 residents are spread out over 16 square miles. A large coast line provides plenty of both public and private/association beaches. Some of these are: Grove Beach; West Beach; Quotonset Beach; Middle Beach; Old Kelsey Point; Chapman Beach.
