Each town employs their own version of New England Town Government which offers citizens the opportunity to be actively involved in the decision making process.  These quaint towns offer a wide variety of recreation while also being located close to cultural outlets in New Haven and Hartford.  These centrally located towns with access to a variety of highway and rail systems offer commuting to New Haven, Hartford, New London areas as well as Fairfield County.  In addition day trips to Boston, New York City and Providence are an easy 90 minutes to 2.5 hours. 

 

The Shoreline East commuter line provides train transportation into New Haven offering connections to Metro-North and Amtrack.  Tweed New Haven Airport is quick hop away, Bradley International Airport is an approximately 60 minute drive and T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island is about an hour and fifteen minutes away.
