Guilford: Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug are the local Beaches.
Madison: The Surf Club, East Warf and West Warf are the town beaches complimented by Hamonnassett State Park Connecticut’s largest state beach and camp ground.
Clinton: Town Beach, Esposito Beach
Killingworth: Chatfield Hollow State Park, access to Clinton Beaches.
Branford: Branford Point

Boating Certifications: Connecticut requires the operators of any recreational vessel to have a Safe Boating Certificate (SBC) and operators of Personal Water Craft (Jet Ski type) to have a Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO). Navigation: NOAA Charts 12373 and 12374 cover the coastal area and can be purchased through any approved dealer including West Marine in Old Saybrook or Clinton West Marine or Cedar Island Marina in Clinton Cedar Island Marina or on line at Amnautical
Moorings: Coastal Moorings are regulated by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection DEP Permits
